Who we are

The Climate Collective is a broad network of people and groups working to prevent catastrophic climate change.

Our unified points include a clear anti-capitalist stance in the climate debate, supporting
real solutions to climate change and taking radical action now to confront the underlying causes of climate change.

No individuals should be held responsible for the collective actions of a whole movement!

The Climate Collective is currently collecting money to cover court expenses related to the non-violent civil disobedient mass action Reclaim Power which took place on the 16th of December 2009 during the COP15 in Copenhagen. The two CJA spokespersons Tannie Nyboe and Stine Gry Jonassen were convicted for their involvement in the action and will pay by having their bodies locked behind prison walls for two months minimum. In addition to this they are facing high court expenses, possibly up to 30.000 Euros.

The Climate Collective encourages individuals, groups, collectives and organisations that were involved in the CJA mobilisation leading up to the COP15, and/or that participated in the Reclaim Power action on the 16th of December 2009, and others that wish to show solidarity with Tannie and Stine Gry to help in covering our common court expenses.
