Climate Collective
It is finally approaching the time for the court cases handling the preventative arrests of thousands of activists during the COP15 summit in Copenhagen, and their complaint against police.
The complaints against the arrests will be handled on:
August 23rd, 9.30am, first floor, general attorney procedure
August 30th, 9.30am, first floor, prosecutor procedure
September 1st, 9.30am, 1st floor - extra time and possible sentence
All the hearings will take place at the Copenhagen city court.
A case that could set a limit to police power
The court case about the preventative arrests that took place during COP15, regards the limitation of police power during demonstrations, but also the humiliation of hundreds of detainees during December.
